Every year, our Viking Leaders chose a member of the ætt (family) to create the anniversary logo for Ullr Bar. This year, to come up with our 8 year logo, we bestowed the duty to Warrior Liam. Here is his message about his new 8 year logo.

The Kraken was where it started. It carries that raw, untamed energy that has always been part of this place, the kind you feel building under the surface before a packed night takes over.

From there, Jörmungandr came in. The world serpent looping into itself, forming an infinity symbol that also reads as an eight. A subtle nod to eight years, but still something that feels intentional and grounded in the mythology.

Together, it is that balance of chaos and continuity. The wild energy that defines a night here, paired with the idea that Ullr has built something lasting and continues to evolve.

This one came together with Joey, a local artist, which made it feel even more rooted in the community around us. He brought the whole concept to life in a way that could not have been done otherwise.
